How To Repair A Kensington Mouse 72667
Optimal manus placement while using Kensington Adept Trackball.
Coming from a M570 which is a pollex trackball, I was wondering what is the optimal fashion to use the finger trackball similar the Expert.
Thanks

It really depends on the size of your manus and the trackball itself. Finger trackballs have more shapes than their thumb cousins. I accept a Slimblade and my palm rests on a wristrest mousepad while my fore finger and middle sit down on the brawl with thumb on right click and pinky on left. Not certain if this is the best, only information technology works for me and I take nothing RSI this fashion.

When your wrist rests on the mousepad and so do you keep it resting all the time? Or practise yous movement co-ordinate to comfort?

That's exactly how I employ mine at work.

I apply slimblade but information technology has a similar layout:
-
wrist on a gel wristrest, or arm resting on chair'southward armrest that'due south raised slightly in a higher place desk level (I alternating between the 2 methods)
-
pollex on lower left button
-
index and middle finger on ball
-
ring finger on the border of top correct push button
-
pinky on bottom right button
-
When I demand to press tiptop left push button, I just movement my index from the brawl
-
For scrolling, I put index finger on top of the ball and twist it with my ring finger
